The barrier to starting is gone
Before the internet, starting a business meant you were already spending at least a 100k before you’d made a single penny
You needed a physical shop, stock, employees, insurance, utility bills, advertising etc.
And you needed to pay for all of that before one customer had even walked through your door
Now you can build a business from your phone or laptop, whilst sitting at your kitchen table
The barrier to entry basically doesn’t exist anymore
And yet people won’t invest 10k-20k to ROI (Return on Investment) 50k, 100k for the rest of their lives
The unrealistic expectations have shot through the roof
And I’m not speaking to those who don’t have finances right now, I started out with nothing too. That’s a different conversation
If a profitable business is your goal, then save for it and do the things that move you closer to being in a position where you can invest properly إن شاء الله
What shocks me is something completely different
It’s the people who want 6 figures but will only expect to invest 1k, 2k, 3k to get there
The goal and the investment expectation just don’t match up
The ambition is huge and the commitment is tiny and somehow they’re surprised when it doesn’t work
The opportunity got easier and the access got easier and there’s no denying this industry is growing exponentially
But wealth still requires investment in skills, in coaching and in yourself. That part didn’t change
Most coaches are happy to take your 1k, 2k, 3k and sell you the 6 figure dream
I’m telling you what you don’t want to hear but know is true in your heart:
Until the investment and effort matches the goal, the goal stays a dream
The barrier most people need to break is the one inside your own head. And until you do, the opportunity means nothing
