Took my first step back into networking again last night with the lovely .elias65! It's been quite a few years since Ive attended an event so it was great to see small business owners both starting out and growing their business to amazing highs. This is one of my favourite photos from the 'Sustainable & Ethical Fashion' event. Me with the lovely Sonya Meagor, founder of North London Sustainability Network and eco cuisine! Sonya and I have been working together for the last year on the Network which has grown to be a community of likeminded people wanting to learn more about how they can have a positive impact on our environment.

Our speakers and event partners have been truly inspiring 💡 and I’m looking forward to collaborating with more innovative change makers for the next event!

I’m a mentor to students at a local secondary school and work with Young Enterprise- an inspiring organisation who know the true value of collaboration 🙌 and the power of helping to get the best out of others - particularly young people.

Pentland Brands hosted the YE North London Student Company Finals competition - It was a fantastic experince for the students as they pitched & presented their company to a packed auditorium - including judges Katrina Nurse (CFO of Pentlands Brands) and my colleague Pazbi Zavatzki(Director of Some Talented People). The students also met local dignitaries including the Mayors of Haringey, Walthamstow and deputy mayor of Barnet.

The standard of 💡creativity, innovation and clout demonstrated by all the competing students was absolutely brilliant!! So proud to be a part of a programme that inspires young people to think big, dream big and go for it!

It was also inspiring for the students to be in a professional working environment that is leading when it comes to combining design, fun, expression and creativity. An amazing building that reflects Pentlands diverse global brands and the lovely people who also work there!

Great to meet so many diverse business owners from across the industry and also thank you to Sonia Richmond of Chi beauty salon for hosting & for the lovely goodie bags😍! Absolutely brilliant Conference & Afterparty for Loving Local last week! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported us in the extensive planning and ex*****on of this mammoth event 🧡🙏🏼! The speakers, entertainers, technical crew, volunteers and venue staff were all incredible and I’m so proud to work with so many talented people (too many to mention all - but you know who you are😘). Thank you to our guests for your engagement and support - the feedback has been phenomenal!!! Has made the months of hard work and long hours pale in to the background 😁

Finally, a big thank you to the Loving Local team for giving us the opportunity to work on this very special event with you. It’s been a blast!! Wish you all the best for the continued growth of the community 👍🏼

Wow!!! What an awesome event ...! Have taken sooooo many photos and video don’t know where to start. FIRST a massive thank to the beautiful LL team and all the amazing volunteers and performers who supported us today! Sooooo many Thank you’s to dish out but for now a big thank you to Your Flower Story London Andreea for these gorgeous flowers - feeling very spoilt!
