Yesterday evening, we ran a Pride social that was open to all staff across Kubrick and aimed to give members of the LGBTQ+ community plus Allies an opportunity to come together and celebrate Pride month 2022.
We also took this opportunity to announce the winner of our Pride raffle which was designed to raise money for Metro Charity, an equality and diversity charity providing health, community and youth services across London and the South East, plus the amount we’d raised over the course of the month.
Mark Delacour, Head of Communications at Metro Charity, was kind enough to attend the social and announce both the winner of the charity and amount raised. He also shared insight into the charity, outlining where it first derived from and the important work they carry out to support individuals experiencing issues around sexuality, gender, equality, diversity and identity across sexual and reproductive health, community, mental health and wellbeing, youth, and HIV.
