Hello Dollies. So Camden Rocks Festival is just around the corner and there are still some available tickets left, so do message us for tickets...this one is the most important show for you Dollies not to miss because it will be the last 1 with the original line up! Yes that's right, it is our sad duty to announce the departure of Chris and Liam. We have had an awesome go at it and 7 years playing with the original line up is no small feat. So let's celebrate that together with an awesome last show.
Here are a couple of statements from the boys:
Chris: I am very sad but feel it's the right thing for me to leave VD after Camden Rocks festival. I have enjoyed playing with the guys and love them all so much.
Liam: I think I'm due another break from music for a bit for sure. I've played in bands almost continuously for 25 years except for a 6 month break nearly 15 years ago! Crazy when I say it like that! haha
After giving it a lot of thought I've decided to call last orders on my time with Via. It's been a great 7 years, playing music with some of the best people and meeting a load of cool people along the way. Why? Other interests take too much of my time and energy now to really give Via what it deserves from me. Camden rocks will be my last hurrah with the band and I plan to rip it up big time and have a lot of fun! See you there!
Both Denny and Hailey are very sad to see their VD brothers go, but are determined to keep the VD going. They will be working together on new tracks and recording and will be seeking a new drummer and bassist in due course.
But here is a rare bit of footage back at our headline show at Dingwalls -Canalside, which is 1 of our most fondest memory playing together.
