Turns out, Edits is GOOD... 🤯
In fact, I really believe it actually BEATS CapCut - and it's totally free, even for caption generation.
Here's my favourite features...
ACTUALLY GOOD CAPTIONS
CapCuts captions are a sh*t-show of mis-timed, inaccurate words and fiddly adjustments - and they look terrible.
Edits captions are properly timed, accurate and easy to move and adjust.
A LEGIT GOOD TELEPROMPTER
Hey, it’s a real working teleprompter inside of Edits!
And best of all, it puts the text at the top..... WHERE YOUR CAMERA ACTUALLY IS.
Which means you actually LOOK AT THE CAMERA!
IN-APP RECORDING, I.E NO CAMERA ROLL
One thing I love about Edits is you can film clips in the project you’re making, then throw out what you don’t want...
.. INSTEAD of filming everything to your camera roll then guessing which ones you actually used for the final edit.
KEY FRAMES FOR ANIMATION
Key frames make creating animations super simple.
Just put the playwhere where you want your animation to start
(in this case I’m zooming in) and tap the keyframe icon.
SOUND EFFECTS FOR ACCENTS
You know those cool swoosh and click sounds that all the editors add? Well now you can too.
Just tap ‘Sound FX’, find a sound that’ll fit the thing you’re doing and drag it to where you want. I recommend using these sounds...

CUT OUT SILENCE
The best way to shoot fast is using ‘shoot for the edit’, where you leave the camera rolling then hit the first line, stop, second line, stop, etc.
When you combine that with cut silence you can shoot an entire video, remove silence then choose your favourite clips and get it done in minutes.
LINK YOUR REELS
After making your video, select “Links” then choose the Reel you want to link to and it’ll appear on top.
Make sure the Reel is related to what you’re actually talking about (OBVIOUSLY).
