Dear candidates,
After several years of recruiting, we've decided to put together some tips to help you boost your CV and avoid being rejected at first glance.
*Different fields of work: We receive a massive influx of CVs, especially when we post job openings. What agencies and families want to see is a clear and concise CV. Relevant experience, in this case, in childcare, is the only relevant experience. For example, if you state that you have worked for a family for "x time" and then further down that you have worked in an office or as a waitress, you will be automatically disqualified. Our clients want a CV focused solely on what they are asking for.
*Applying for a position where you don't meet the requirements mentioned in the description above. For example,— if we say we need someone with experience in SEN (Special Needs Education) or special needs, if you don't have those qualifications, you will be automatically disqualified.
➡ Try simply applying with a first aid course and a criminal record check. We receive many CVs, and often you don't have either of these essential requirements to apply through the agency. This wastes a lot of our time unnecessarily and frustrates other candidates, preventing us from giving them the attention they deserve.
*Ordering the dates when and where the role was performed is fundamental for us to understand your work history and years of experience, as well as to introduce yourselves to our clients.
