Sitting at the airport and fully appreciating the blessings that I have….

- that I get to go on holiday
- that I can look forward to some downtime
- that I have an income that allows me to do this

Travelling - not only opens your eyes to the diversity of the world but allows you that rest and recharge that we often need.

Having worked in mental health for many years now - holidays have become my way of decompressing from a job that is emotionally taxing (however rewarding).

So this is your sign to think about how you relax, how you take time out, how you unwind from the busyness of life. It may not be a holiday abroad if that’s not feasible; it could be a spa break, a long run, spending longer in the shower/bath - any form of self care that nourishes you.

Health is wealth and this is part of taking care of your health through helping both your mind and body rest.
