Senior Care Coordinator
Reports to
Care Manager
Summary of role
To ensure all client visits are allocated, to recruit suitable Care and Support Workers and to maintain appropriate office procedures. Manage up to 50 clients.
Principal responsibilities
· Answering all incoming telephone enquiries.
· Implementation of thorough recruitment and vetting procedures of all Care & Support Workers.
· Processing new client referrals.
Preparing appropriate documentation for Field Care Supervisors
Conducting telephone monitoring and service user visits and ensuring service quality
· Preparing appropriate documentation for Field Care Supervisors.
· Permanent allocation of Care & Support Workers to all client visits and ensuring all visits always covered.
Using electronic monitoring software to monitor care workers’ attendance and timeliness for visits
· Administration of all Individual Care & Support Agreements.
· Maintaining client and Care & Support Worker office files and ensuring that they are always up to date.
· Maintaining computer system up to date at all times.
· Ensuring all clients and Care & Support Worker documentation and electronic records are kept up to date at all times.
· Ensuring all other records are kept up to date.
· To work closely with the Field Care Supervisor.
Arranging care reviews and risk assessments for service users with the field supervisor.
· To ensure compliance with all office systems and procedures.
· Assistance with wages and invoice processing.
· Production of reports and management information as required.
Recruiting care workers
Managing care workers and conducting care worker supervisions
Representing the company during meetings with officials and service commissioners
Attending training events and ensuring that skills and knowledge of industry best practice is kept up-to-date
Ensuring that our service complies with CQC requirements
Ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
Liaising with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders
To ensure all customer visits are allocated, to maintain the computer system up to date at all times and to maintain good communication with carers.
Business Development
· To offer training, support and assistance care workers, defining accountability, target setting and outcomes.
· To participate in review meetings with fellow professionals as required.
· Assess initial packages and inform the Coordinator and Branch Manager highlighting areas where there is a need for extra care so that the Local Authority is contacted to seek an amendment to the Care Package.
· Assist the Branch Manager in the initial assessment for private clients.
· Market branch office services by using leaflet drops, placing leaflets and posters in GP surgeries, sheltered accommodation, warden assisted units and hospitals including word of mouth etc.

Salary: £16,612.00-£26,000.00 per year
