A little late to the party but we wanted to send a massive congratulations to Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek on their recent wins at Wimbledon... And while they were killing it on the court, we were doing what we do best...

A huge, heartfelt thank you to all who came to our recent 'Wimble while you work' event! The Pimms was flowing, the Eton mess was messin, and our community were the best (as always)!

🌍 Happy Earth Day 2025🌍

Today, we reflect on our commitment to environmental sustainability and the steps we take to make our older building eco-friendly. At FBC Clerkenwell, we believe that every small action counts towards a greener future and we wanted to share some of the initiatives we proudly implement:

-Energy-efficient LED lighting with PIR sensors in communal areas to reduce energy consumption.
-Recycling bins provided throughout the building to encourage waste segregation and recycling.
-Active participation in the Zero Emissions Network and other sustainability initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint.
-Our building is EPC rated B, demonstrating our commitment to energy efficiency.
-We prioritise local suppliers and ethical vendors to support sustainable practices.
-We use sustainable service providers for cleaning and maintenance to ensure eco-friendly operations.

There are small steps we can all take each day to be more eco-friendly. Here are some of the simple actions you can take:

- Make use of the recycling bins provided and try to reduce waste by reusing items whenever possible.
- Turn off lights and unplug devices when not in use to save energy.
- Choose local and ethical vendors for your purchases to reduce transportation emissions and support sustainable businesses.

A massive congratulations to carefreespace, who have recently been featured on BBC news, highlighting the life changing work they do to provide unpaid carers with a much needed break.

Another wonderful Community Event!

What an afternoon! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Easter afternoon tea, it was great to see so many familiar faces and meet some of our newest members.

From interesting debates over the correct way to prepare a scone (it's jam first, by the way) to laughter and fun that reminded us just how incredible our community is, we had an absolute blast.
