In the news! About Shine’s Tuna who were part of FarePlate 2019.

We would give anything to be a fly on the wall whenever the Shine family of Killybegs are having a strategy/marketing meeting.
Just imagine the moment when one of the team says: ‘You know, I think we should do a Selection Box… of sardines and tuna.”
Silence. Then: ‘Yeah, let’s run with that, and let’s add in a Premium Gift Box, with a couple of boxes of Ventresca in the pack.’
And everyone says: ‘Okay, that’s a wrap.’
Then the Shine family go forth with their new ideas, and conquer the world of canned fish. As they do.
We have to confess to being in awe of what Ciara Shine and her family have achieved over the last couple of years. They have taken a food sector – canned fish – where the Irish weren’t even also-rans, and they have turned it into a bespoke boutique brand buster, the Birkin bag of canned fish, the Hermes scarf of bottled tuna. 
Everything they touch turns to gold, and they haven’t stopped yet.Next on the list to be transformed into a sexy superbrand is a range of mackerel products.
We can’t wait. Truly.
