I wanted to share the work of someone who really helped me during a major period of transition in my own life.
Mariam and The Jungian Journey https://www.thejungianjourney.com
Mariam is a wonderful master-level Jungian coach, and I originally went to work with her because I wanted support navigating change but also because I wanted to experience a completely different kind of coaching and reflective practice from the work I usually encounter professionally.
The experience helped me understand the idea of the shadow self in a much deeper way, and made some of the fear I had around certain next steps feel far more manageable, human and workable.
There’s something very powerful about working symbolically rather than purely logically. It creates a different relationship with meaning, transition, identity and uncertainty.
Her new offering, Pregnant with Meaning, draws partly from her experience of pregnancy, but it isn’t only for mothers or pregnant women. It’s really about what we are “birthing” psychologically, emotionally and creatively in our lives.
Honestly, I wish I’d had access to this kind of work during my own pregnancy and early motherhood journey.
If you’re interested in Jungian thinking, symbolism, dreams, personal transformation, coaching, or deeper reflective work, I’d really encourage you to explore what Mariam is creating.
And if someone comes to mind while reading this, please do share it with them.
