Project Engineer

Our client, a highly renowned international well services organisation with operations in 50+ countries is now seeking to expand it’s engineering group and is inviting applications from experienced Project Engineers.

The main activity is working on Engineering projects to fulfil the requirements of Group Engineering clients, and to produce required documentation to enable equipment to be manufactured, assembled, tested and operated safely and efficiently, within timescales and budgets as agreed.

The Role
·Produce and monitor project plans and timelines, and monitor budgets as agreed.
·Produce/check/approve Engineering documentation as required and check PDM entry as required
·Be fully familiar with operation of Engineering systems and softwar packages
·Actively be involved in Engineering meetings and reviews

The Applicant
·Must possess a relevant degree with area specific Oil & Gas industry knowledge

Toolpusher - North Sea

Job Title:- Toolpusher

The Role
Ensures compliance with as well as HSE policies and procedures.
Makes decisions on drilling operations based on hole, equipment and environmental conditions.
Monitors rig-up, rig down and inspection of 3rd party equipment above deck below deck and on the rig floor.
Monitors the condition and preventive maintenance of all drilling and support machinery and ensures operational readiness of all equipment at all times through work observations and inspections.
Makes decisions on drilling progress based on threats to safety and accuracy of the drilling program.
Oversees the safe transfer of materials and personnel to and from the rig.
Carries out routine inspections and corrects or reports all abnormalities.
Takes action to safeguard personnel, the well, equipment and the environment during a fire or other emergency.
Supervises and oversees picking up, make up, breaking down and laying down of all tubulars ensures correct torque values are applied to connections.
Oversees runs and retrieval of riser and subsea blowout prevention (BOP) stacks.
Follows procedures for hang off and emergency disconnect as per Drilling Operations manual as required.
Monitors environmental protection per Drilling standards as well as local regulations. .
Assists in preparing the IADC reports and Toolpusher's Weekly Inspection Report.
Ensures the completion of all daily drilling report and daily pump report.
Maintains updated knowledge of all local regulations, codes and standards.

The Applicant
Must have 3 years+ experience as a Toolpusher with another drilling contractor on a Modular V Rig preferred

Valid, current offshore and survival certificates
Well Control Certificate at the supervisor's level is required.
Must have the ability to demonstrate an advanced knowledge of the overall direction and management of the safe and economical operation of an offshore drilling rig.
Must have an advanced level of mechanical knowledge of drilling equipment.
Must have good working knowledge of rigging procedures and break point limits.
Must have advanced safety knowledge.
Must pass pre-employment screening as well as random drug tests, as applicable per local laws.

Inspection/Senior Inspection Engineers

Job Description
As a Senior Inspection Engineer your main duties and responsibilities will include:

·
Responsibility for the effective provision and operation of inspection systems and services to the allocated offshore platforms to ensure that plant and equipment is certified in accordance with Company and Client codes of practice, strategies and offshore legislation ensuring feedback of results to client Asset Group.
·
Ensure agreed inspection strategies, procedures, standards and plans are implemented and completed by Offshore Personnel and any failures, variations and amendments are fed back into the Technical Integrity Team and the Client representative.
·
Maintain direct and regular contact with Asset Teams in order to ensure an effective Inspection service. Specifically input into shutdowns and programmes to ensure inspection requirements are clearly identified and scheduled.
·
Review and endorse inspection reports to ensure they comply with the relevant standards. Instigate appropriate remedial action for any non-compliance and ensure that inspection frequencies are maximised. Co-ordinate and action results from associated failure investigations/significant anomalies.
·
Coordinate and participate in periodic plant and equipment history reviews in order to maximise plant availability. Ensure the effective application of new techniques, technologies and use of specialist NDT contractors to limit intrusive inspection so as to maximise inspection intervals, where appropriate.
·
Provide guidance and/or direction to support personnel and contractors involved in the supply, progress and organisation of services to the ICM contract.
·
Liaise with third parties such as related service providers, verification bodies etc. to ensure the client business objectives are achieved.
·
Manage the CTR (Cost, Time & Resource) process, and assist in budget preparation.

Applicants
·
Degree in Engineering or exceptional experience in inspection engineering.
·
Extensive experience in plant and equipment in-service inspection.
·
Working knowledge of design, manufacture, materials, corrosion, welding, codes, standards and legislation associated with the in-service inspection of plant and equipment.
·
Must be familiar with QA/QC practices and NDE techniques.
·
Able to generate a team approach to problem solving and an excellent communicator.
