From 6 February 2024, the UK government is increasing the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) from £624 to £1,035 per year for Graduate route, and from £470 to £776 per year for Student route. This is a 66% increase in the IHS rate. International students who are planning to study in the UK should take note of this change and factor it into their budget.
