From pig to diary farms, from Harper Adams to Stirling Castle, my three-day whirlwind tour with a Chinese IP specialist around the island was a great success!🐖🐖🐖🐄🐄🐄

I almost became my own fans when a Chinese-speaking English consultant told a roomful of agri-science scholars, researchers and government officials that she was very impressed with my interpretation because I didn't only interpret the language, I also helped both sides to communicate better by putting the conversation into context. ✌️✌️✌️

It's always a touching moment when I'm totally understood and appreciated.🌹🌹🌹

Just completed another interpreting assignment with the Metropolitan Police and a Chinese delegation. I'm getting to know a lot about the legal system in the UK through these very interesting assignments and becoming an expert in this area for interpreting.✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ☀️ ☀️ ☀️

I was the interpreter for this event and it's really nice to have received very positive feedback from the MPS, the Chinese embassy, and the delegation from China. 😊😊😊

My years of hard work as the translator/interpreter for important diplomatic meetings has eventually paid off. I can now call myself "a professional translator/interpreter". ✌️✌️✌️

Just filed my online tax return for 2015/2016!

My first tax education was back in 1990 when a visiting American lecturer at my Chinese university told me that it was a citizen's fundamental responsibility to pay tax.

Hope that my teachers would be proud of me too.

It's fascinating to listen to Dame Fiona Wolfe talking about the things she has been doing as a layer, a lady Lord Mayor of London, and an activist in promoting women in business.

Met a lovely Chinese lady who brought the first Chinese insurance brokerage company to the UK.

Great to meet old friends and to catch up!

Sometimes, business development could be inspiring and fun.

Got up early for a breakfast meeting near St Paul's Cathedral with BNI. Nice croissant in pub "Rogue". Enjoyed the comraderie of the referral system. Good for business targeting SMEs locally, I think. Too wide a pool for the translation business though.
