Chief Guest Spotlight – 2nd Top50 Professional & Career Women UK Awards 2025
We were honoured to welcome The Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Anjana Patel, as our esteemed Chief Guest at the 2nd Top50 Professional & Career Women UK Awards.

Cllr. Anjana Patel is Harrow’s 73rd Mayor and the first British Tanzanian/Indian-born Mayor to hold this prestigious office. Her remarkable journey in public service began in 2002 as Councillor for the West Harrow Ward, where she served for 8 years before taking up representation of the Belmont Ward for the past 7 years.

Throughout her career, she has championed community development, culture, education, and public safety—serving as Cabinet Member for Community & Culture, and Schools & Children's Development (2006–2010), and later, in 2022, as Cabinet Member for Environment & Community Safety.

Her presence at the awards was an inspiration, reminding us of the power of leadership, representation, and dedicated public service.
