Turns out, I have a lot of thoughts about running and independent business, and allowing yourself the freedom to change course when it feels necessary. Yes, our retail expansion .paper.ldn is going to be so fun, but the choice came from my lowest point. Letting myself consider changes, where everything was on the table (including if I even wanted to keep making stationery) honestly made me feel giddy. Just because it’s what you’ve always done, doesn’t mean it has to be what you always do. There’s strength in flexibility. Yes, we have a substack, it’s totally free so give it a read. And while you’re at it, throw some money into our crowdfunder so I can stop asking. Kthxbye.
