Collaboration x ✖️
With this collaboration we wanted to create unique pieces that tell a bit of our beautiful persian history and the past.
We are using traditional coin designs that has been used before the revolution in Iran in 1979.
These are not being used anymore but we wanted to give them another live by creating unique and beautiful jewellery out of the design of these traditional coins ✨
“The Lion and the Sun”
The Lion and the sun has been the main emblems of the Persian kingdom. The motif illustrates ancient and modern Iranian traditions and became a popular sign in the 12th century.
These signs always had a close association with Iranian royalty with its origin from the ancient zodiacal sign of the sun in the house of Leo 🌞
