Calling SpLD Assessors

An exciting opportunity for SpLD assessors with a current APC looking to extend and enhance their skills and experience.

Come and join a team where there are psychologists and SpLD assessors working together in partnership (how lovely is that!). This is a collaboration between Lexxic (http://www.lexxic.com) and Dyslexia Assessment & Consultancy (http://www.workingwithdyslexia.com).

You should have some experience of providing diagnostic assessments in Higher / Further Education for dyslexia, DCD / Dyspraxia and perhaps ADHD (however lots of ongoing guidance and support!).

There are possibilities for full-time or part-time employment or associate work.

In the first instance, please send expressions of interest to Katherine Kindersley (email below) with an outline of your work and experience to date.

But actually what I look for in people who aspire to run things is that they’ve struggled to be where they are, because I think they’re the people who make the best decisions and make decisions on behalf of others as well as themselves.' ”

Peter Kyle’s earliest memory is of school. He is standing at the front of the classroom beside a chart with a picture of a swan surrounded by letters. “I must have been five and we were doing the
