Luckily looks aren't everything 😂
Decided to experiment with baking powder and organic wholemeal bread, adding in olive oil, rosemary and a little orange blossom honey to the mix.
Turned out surprisingly tasty, if a little unsightly!
It had a 'crisp' crust but was splendidly soft inside, a bit like a huge scone.

Thought we'd post it anyway, rather than worry about appearances.

Rhubarb & Custard ice lollies!

These were SO tasty and refreshing in the sizzling sunshine. We used our Greek honey in both the rhubarb and the 'custard' (the custard was actually just vanilla milk, as no need to set 😉)
Anyone else have any lolly suggestions? 😜

Had a bunch of rhubarb from a local farm veg box and thought it was a tad too hot for a crumble!

Rather odd Rhubarb incident!

Have you ever left rhubarb to soak a tad too long?!
Turned really quite beautiful, was a shame to have to boil it into a slimy pink mush...but what we turned it into was worth it...
