Parity’s Thomas Lashbrooke and Joe Cairns spent a day at Housing Industry Leaders event, recently. In Wales alone there is a need to upgrade 142 homes per day, 7 days per week for 27 years to reach net zero by 2050. What really stood out is just how active the Welsh government is in supporting innovation and addressing skill gaps.

If you need help evaluating your housing stock and skills requirements, our software can help you make informed and considered decisions about next steps. Get in touch with us today to start the process.

Tim Wotton - Green Funding Manager at LiveWest shares his experience of working with Parity Projects and how they use Portfolio to help realise their goals.
“LiveWest is the largest social landlord operating exclusively in the South West, with around 40,000 homes throughout the region.
“Parity’s Portfolio has been a really important tool for me and has supported our understanding of our stock, the development of long-term budgets to achieve our net zero plans and provided a vital tool to enable us to develop SHDF and other funding bids, helping us secure over £10m of government funding.
“What sets Parity Projects apart from other modelling tools is a personal approach and telephone support so that we model as effectively as possible. Parity’s expert staff supported and added value when we were working under really tight deadlines.”

Make the most of your time at Housing - Europe's largest Housing festival and ensure you get the chance to talk to us about our market-leading software products: Portfolio, Pathways, Programmes & Policy. Our mission is to provide a plan for every home. With 25% of the sector and 50% UK homes under analysis for local authorities and individual owner-occupiers, we are making good progress.
We use data science, software and analysis to help local authorities and landlords of every size to deliver energy efficiency efficiently, and effectively. We can help develop cost-effective retrofit programmes with address-level data, and our highly flexible model can identify ways to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and deliver against Government policy and funding opportunities.
We also have a consumer-facing portal that can be used by delivery partners to qualify leads and to give customers an independent view of what measures may be appropriate for their home, and their costs and benefits.

We are delighted to welcome Thomas Lashbrooke to the Parity team! Thomas has recently joined us as Business Development Executive, and like the rest of us, he is passionate and data driven. He is an excellent addition to the Parity team to support us in growing our brand and spreading our mission to provide every home in the UK with a workable retrofit plan.

Thomas’ background is varied. After completing a degree in Engineering, where he spent time in Germany analysing renewable energy systems, he helped solve population-sized data problems for government, legal, healthcare and educational sectors internationally in Business Process Automation. In his free time, you’ll find him volunteering at environmental community hub Zero Carbon Guildford an award-winning independent charity recently mentioned in parliament for winning the The Climate Coalition 2023 award for Innovative UK Community Project.

“Parity is striving to make a positive difference in the retrofit sector, and as housing is one of the biggest emitters of carbon in our country I am thrilled to be part of the journey to improve the health of our houses and people.”

Finishing up this week with some exciting news...

We're delighted to announce we - together with a group of fantastic partners - have successfully secured funding from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (ESNZ) under the Green Home Finance Accelerator to develop a consumer-centred national retrofit service.

We're not only aiming to take Ecofurb national, but deliver empowered and qualified customers to the market, link them to relevant grants and finance options and link to the best local and regional knowledge and services available.

National coverage of finance options and quality assurance is possible through our first finance partner Santander UK and retrofit assessment and coordination services provider CoreLogic UK, and most exciting is how we intend to build the bridge to local and regional knowledge and expertise, such as that provided by the Centre For Sustainable Energy, Loco Home Retrofit CIC, Community Energy England and its members.

We're still open to partners - if you're looking for an advice and quality assurance platform, get in touch with Russell Smith or Liz Lainé.

We're a company focussed on reducing CO2 in our existing homes, and we have funding to do this research from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. We hope it will make a really big difference reducing UK CO2 emissions. More about us and the project here:

The UK’s 30 million homes account for more than 21% of the country’s total carbon emissions, with three-quarters of this coming from heating systems. 85% of UK homes are on the gas network, using fossil fuels and producing large quantities of carbon emissions. Retrofitting our homes to use low c...
