Traffic is how you're driving people into your listings, your website, or wherever you're going.
So how do we get traffic?
There's paid traffic and there's organic traffic.
So what does paid traffic entail?
Pay traffic entails your campaigns, PPC, your advertisements, and all of the different ways that you're spending to give people the impressions that they need. When they see your product coming up on Amazon and it says sponsored and they view it, that's an impression. They don't have to click on it, but they view it and they see your brand.
In 2003 when you want it to promote your brand and have somebody have the confidence to buy it, all you had to do was show your brand or get in front of that person three times. Today, you have to get in front of that person 13 times.
So 13. Wherever that might be on social media, on Amazon, on your website, on Google ads, wherever that might be. Those are the impressions that are driving sales and not just bad sales, but paid advertising drives organic sales.
Don't forget that because some people think they're spending too much money on advertising and their advertising dollars aren't turning into a really great eight cost.
Well, if your total sales are coming up, and that's what we're talking about, your organic is growing. Don't worry so much about what, you know, what the cost is, because if your overall sales are growing, that's how you're going to start to scale your business.
