Mallorca! It’s been three years since we were last here. I have loved lounging around with majestic mountains as a backdrop, playing pool with my boys, giggling over pina coladas, popping into Soller and Pollença, swimming in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea and reading, reading and more reading. What a great joy it is to be able to hang out here à la . Thank you Mallorca! We love you

Messing around in my dress for dinner We booked a last minute, much needed, weekend away in the Cotswolds. Lazy mornings, forest and lake walks, lots of reading and a swim, steam and sauna for me. Bliss x

When I was about 14 I sat for two hours in a bath full of 80 bags of PG tips. Someone had told me it would dye my skin so it looked like I had a healthy tan. It didn’t. I’d love to be one of those who just has to see the sun for a moment and then I’m brown, until then I will fake it with various sprays and lotions. Excuse the slightly patchy colour on my legs ( no tea bags were harmed for this photo) x

Part 3! To round off ( although there is so much more to say and so many more designers to tell you about!) my last two featured brands. .paris Both these brands ooze summery relaxation. See U Soon is super boho but wearable and easy, with featherlight fabrics and pretty details all the way through. Chicosoleil is chock full of cheesecloth and very special embroidered pieces that lift the mood. See their bags too in stories. Let me know what you like best? X

PART 2! Honestly, it was so hard to pick favourites but here are two more - achingly beautiful, fluid, feminine, dresses and jumpsuits, with a retro core but a modern sensibility. And delicious sandals and shoes from I adored the colour mix and material mash up. I’d also like to shout out to .world - a new Greek brand with an ethereal, calming, cool collection made to celebrate female dressing and last, but not least .jewels - delicate, but powerful jewellery pieces with heart and femininity at their core. I spent three days at Scoop London this season editing the wide selection of designers showing this July. And what a show it was!
I saw old faces from my buying days and met many new ones! There was great energy in the space and, as always, it was beautifully dressed and merchandised.
I chose a different edit each day focusing in on
1. Commerciality
2. Current trends
3. Wearability ( using my expert eye for the best cuts for women)
On day three I had the honour of curating two rails for the Italian Trade Agency showcasing only Italian brands. 3 part reel incoming. I’d love to know which brands caught your eye?

I’ve eyed this beauty for a while. Saved up. Got it on sale . Sunshine yellow, crispy poplin shirting fabric, asymmetrical details. Perfect for me. Plus, it makes me smile. It’s not the more subtle buttercup shade that has been everywhere- I can’t tolerate that colour, makes me look like I have the flu. Did you buy any yellow this season?

It’s been many years since I owned a white trouser. I thought it was time to remedy that. Enter this crisp pleated pair from Victoria Beckham’s collaboration with Gap. A few things: Don’t wear on the bus, train or tube without a light mac ( or similar) to protect them from dirt. Avoid rain, berry smoothies, coffee, ketchup and small children. Oh, and dogs that like to nuzzle your leg post breakfast, I’m looking at you, Marni Bear.

What a night! Friday night was .woodd 21st! We have known dear Ruby for many years and were super excited to be able to celebrate with her and the fam ( her parents are our very great friends ) and lovely I wore a new LBD and needed socks with my silver sandals ( not a balmy evening!) We danced, we drank, we drank some more, we danced some more, we laughed, we hugged oh, and we ate cake. Or rather, I ate cake - a lot of cake…Happy 21st Ruby! Keys to the kingdom and all that - you’re a star x

Head to toe in collabs. The wonderful curve hem tee is x and I recently bought two pieces from the collaboration. Here’s the first one. White pleated high waist Arc trouser. It’s been a while since I’ve had a clean, optic white trouser. I love the shape - what do you think and did you get anything from the range?
