🏁 Motorsport Woman Takes on the Rotax Racing Club100 International Trophy Finals 🏁

Our KartTeam is proud to be the only all-girl team competing in the fiercely competitive International Trophy Finals at this weekend.

Representing MW are:

🏆 – the first female driver ever to stand on a Club100 podium and take home a trophy.

🇬🇧 Rhianna Purcocks – Club100 Experience Champion, Inaugural Jamie Chadwick Series DMAX Champion, and Team GB representative at the Motorsport Games.

⭐ – Inaugural Jamie Chadwick Series Sodi Champion, making her Club100 debut this weekend.

🎮 – current Club100 racer and Motorsport Woman Sim Ambassador.

Four drivers. Four different journeys. One team.

We’re here to race, compete, learn, and represent to show what’s possible when talented women support each other on and off the track.

No special treatment. No shortcuts. Just four racers taking on the toughest rental kart grid in the 🌍 World . 🔥🏁

This all-female team won a charity 500-lap karting race in 1993. The Thunderbirds were (l-r) Jacqui Woolf, Penny Jones (in kart), Jane Cowell and Charlotte Osborn. Charlotte still races occasionally with the Top Cats GT team. Jacqui Woolf had competed in Formula First.
Their opponents included Ben Edwards and boxer Barry McGuigan.

Sometimes, the way female race and rally drivers are promoted and written about can really make you hide behind your hand and roll your eyes violently. Welcome to .
In 1973, the unfortunate Jill Robinson was slated to have Jimmy Savile, of all people, as her co-driver on the RAC Rally. Probably luckily for Jill, they retired their Ford Es**rt Mexico on the first day.
Jill was one of Britain's leading female drivers of the time and drove Fords almost exclusively. We don't need to talk about what Savile was.

Combining motorsport sponsorship and women can create some interesting results, like when Femfresh sponsored Alison Davis's Ginetta G15 Special Saloon in 1971.
Ginetta was pushing its small sportscars to a female audience in the early 1970s. A G15 was also offered as a prize in a competition in 19 magazine.

Honouring the life and legacy of Pam Hogg 🖤

A true original who stitched fashion, music and pure rebellion into one fearless presence. Pam championed strong, creative, brave women long before it was a hashtag – showing us that you can be uncompromising, unapologetic , strong still deeply human.

Our industry may be different, but the spirit is the same: fire in the belly, courage in the heart, keep your foot down through challenges and a sisterhood that transcends scenes and timelines. It’s because of trailblazers like Pam that doors are open for the next generation of girls to walk – or drive – straight through. If you don’t know look up her career ( she designed trailblazers like Gaga, Rhianna,bjork)

Thank you, Pam, for celebrating what became your last International Women’s Day with us and our car, surrounded by young women you inspired more than you’ll ever know.

🏁🙏We want to extend a huge thank you for the incredible response to the event at on the 1st of November. We have released two more spots in the oversubscribed Junior category 11 to 15 and they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, we’ve rearranged our schedule to open up more spaces for the 14+ with a race license and 16+ without. This is your chance to race alongside talents like to name a few
