One phone call on Friday turned into a Sunday installation, a happy client, an opportunity for a young person and even another potential job. 🌿
This is what we love about what we do at Acacia.
On Friday, we received an urgent call from a client who needed plants and pots for the opening of a new doctors surgery at Westfield, Shepherd’s Bush.
It was last minute, but we made it happen.
Our MD Natalie personally attended the installation on Sunday, and brought along Omari, who is home from college for the holidays and was looking for an opportunity to earn some extra money.
And he got stuck straight in. 💚
Omari helped us with the installation of the plants into the building and set up the displays, getting some hands on experience of what goes into a commercial plantscaping installation.
Once we’d finished, the client loved how much the plants had transformed the space and asked what else we could do to bring it to life.
Luckily, Natalie had some artificial flowers in the van. 🌸
A few arrangements later, we had another very happy client.
But the story didn’t quite end there.
Someone from a business just a few doors down saw the flowers, loved them, took our card and we’re now discussing bringing some Acacia magic to their space too.
Sometimes that’s how business happens.
You turn up, do a great job, go that little bit further and one opportunity creates another.
We’re also really pleased to welcome Omari, who’ll be helping the Acacia team on an ad hoc basis while he’s home from college, earning some extra money and learning along the way.
Supporting young people and giving them an opportunity to experience a real working environment is something we’re very happy to do.
Next up for Omari, learning how to create the plant displays himself. 🌿
Welcome to the team, Omari. 💚
