Experienced Invigilator – Part-Time
Wednesdays - 3pm to 7pm
Saturdays 11am to 6pm
(approximately 11 hours per week, because exam schedules can occasionally vary)

SGS Security Training Centre – NW10, London

We are looking for an experienced Invigilator to join our security training centre on a part-time basis.

Role: Invigilator
Location: NW10, North Acton, London
Days: Wednesday & Saturday
Hours: approximately 11 hours per week, because exam schedules can occasionally vary
Rate: £16.50 per hour
Payment: Paid weekly
Arrangement: Part-time, self-employed/contract basis

About the Role

All examinations at our centre are conducted onscreen, so candidates must have proven experience invigilating computer-based/onscreen examinations and be confident working with digital examination systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Invigilating onscreen security examinations in accordance with awarding-body procedures
- Ensuring examination conditions and regulations are maintained
- Checking learner identification and examination requirements
- Monitoring learners throughout examinations
- Operating and monitoring the onscreen examination environment
- Completing all required examination and invigilation documentation
- Maintaining a professional, secure and controlled examination environment

Requirements

- Proven invigilation experience – essential
- Experience with onscreen/computer-based examinations – essential
- Relevant invigilation certification/qualification – required
- References – required
- Experience within a security training or awarding-body examination environment is preferred
- Professional, reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow examination procedures precisely
