Our last but far from least campaign is by Guide Dogs UK. This spring, the charity set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s biggest virtual tea party in a bid to raise vital funds for those with sight loss.

The campaign included participation from some of the country’s most loved celebrities, and won the ‘Best Social Media Presence’ at the 21st annual Charity Times Awards in September.

Launched in April to help save UK charities, the viral took the fundraising world by storm.

In response to the cancellation of the London Marathon, the campaign urged participants to become ‘Home Heroes’ and do the 2.6 Challenge - from running 2.6 miles to holding an online workout with 26 friends – to raise money for charity.

In just one day, the campaign raised over £5 mil for charity and generated coverage in hundreds of national news outlets, including BBC Sport and ITV News.
