NOW AVAILABLE. Listen on or on

The shocking, riveting inside story of the one of greatest cover-ups in US military history. You thought you knew about the Iraq War. You thought you knew who were the good guys and bad guys. Everything you knew is about to change. Forever.
Written and narrated by filmmaker Michael Epstein, Murder In House Two is about what really happened in the Haditha Massacre of November 2005, when 24 unarmed Iraqi civilians – including women, the elderly and young children – were shot multiple times by a group of US Marines. But it’s about much more, too: about one man’s fight for justice, about how the US government tried to prevent the truth ever getting out, about paranoia and persistence and an unshakeable belief in what is wrong and what is right.

French broadcaster TF1 has ordered a local adaptation of the UK crime drama Marcella.

Paris-based prodco Elephant is working on the remake, which will be titled Rebecca, following TF1’s deal with UK distributor Cineflix Rights, which has also taken exclusive global rights to the new series.

The eight-part Rebecca will star Anne Marivin as the titular detective, who returns to work six years after abandoning the hunt for a serial killer and quitting the police force.

Investigating a new series of brutal murders, Rebecca becomes convinced that it is the work of the same killer that previously eluded her, but her investigation is hampered by a series of blackouts and memory loss that cause her to question her own role in the killings.

Rebecca is directed by Didier Le Pêcheur, who also co-writes alongside Delphine Labouret.

James Durie, head of scripted at Cineflix Rights said: “Marcella has been a huge success in the UK and internationally – a testimony to the strength of the characters and story created by Hans Rosenfeldt and Buccaneer Media. We’re all really looking forward to seeing how the creative team at Elephant develop Rebecca for French viewers and – through our distribution deal –a global audience.”
