After a long hiatus, the historic Bray Film Studios was revived by the next generation of the family that started it in the 1950s. Home to Hammer Films (Dracula, Frankenstein) and to the iconic The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Apropos was tasked to modernise its brand identity while respecting its legacy and history. We crafted a graphic identity with a clear nod to the hammer horror genre while reviving it for the 21st century. We also created a marque representing the original building which was renovated to its past glory. Our years long collaboration allowed us to be the guardians and creators of all their content, web design, social media, merch, photography, illustration and all communications. The studio was successfully sold to Amazon MGM Studios a few years after its revival.

For our longtime collaboration with bestselling author Joël Dicker, we crafted a pared-back identity for his personal brand. Built around the iconic _American Typewriter_ font, used in a single size and weight, the system is a nod to storytelling and the typewriter that started it all.

We’re delighted to present Rachel Marks’ “Ouroboros” (2025), a new site-specific installation created for The Little Art Window in Gstaad.

Taking its name from the ancient symbol of the serpent consuming its own tail, Ouroboros reflects on the continual cycle of creation, loss, and renewal. Beginning with a seed and a serpentine form, the sculpture unfolds through organic shapes that evoke growth, memory, and transformation. Crystallised book pages emerge like leaves, suggesting language slowly returning to matter.

Rachel Marks (b. 1986) is an American-born, Paris-based multidisciplinary artist whose practice bridges nature, ritual, language, and metamorphosis. Recent projects include “Palímpsēstos Florae” at Christie’s Paris (2025) and her monumental installation “Symfolia” at the Philharmonie de Paris at the Cité de la Musique (2024).

The Little Art Window is located on Alte Lauenenstrasse, in the middle of Gstaad village just behind the Post Hotel. Please drop by once you’re up and slowing down.

The brand identity we designed for the contemporary art gallery takes its cues from its Swiss mountainous surroundings, local customs (and occasional four-legged neighbours), bringing an Alpine sensibility to the gallery’s program.

The branding of .ch has been a very personal affair. From the rebellious and highly crafted logo, to the interiors balancing on a familiar and sleek tension, to the immediate menu design and characterful merch, it’s a 360 project which keeps evolving along with the restaurant’s life and stories.
