Masdar comes from an idea I had at a young age, more like an observation. While in Morocco, I would go to the hammam often, almost every week! There, I stayed hours with friends, chatting, laughing and sharing beauty secrets amongst gossips. This is a ritual I had a hard time finding in Europe, where I lived for my studies. The only products I could find were irritating, full of chemicals or simpl

y not as good as the natural ones I used in Morocco during my childhood. I decided to create a Brand that will export these Moroccan beauty secrets abroad, because in Morocco we're all about sharing, especially when it comes to selfcare! Each of these products is tied to a memory and remind me, like my personal madeleine of Proust, of joyful moments in every part of the country. Our products are 100% Moroccan and our supplier is established in Mirleft, in the south of Morocco, a place dear to me where I spent unforgettable holidays a couple of years ago.

MSDR was founded with Morocco in mind. Growing up in Casablanca, I wanted to create a brand that represents my heritage. I couldn´t find my beloved products in the UK nor did I trust anything that was stamped with -morocco—moroccanoil- -argan- when none of it was present in the ingredient. So... You know the story, MSDR was born with its first product being argan oil aka THE product we all use in Morocco. Dry hair? argan oil. Whats that scar on your face? argan oil. Strawberry skin? argan oil. And I am so grateful for it. Catch what our community has to say about it.
