If you visited the exhibition, what was the most surprising fact that you learned?

Early February means two days of catching up with friends and colleagues .
There was such a buzz around the Alliance for European **p’s beautiful stand. And the chance to meet the men and women who transform these European-grown plants into versatile fibres.

Seeing the results of the **p4Circularity project and the reveal of the pilot fabrics using long fibre, European-grown h**p was incredibly exciting. H**p, as a bast fibre, is complementary to linen, and has its own expression: density, texture, relief, presence! There are so many interesting handles and potential end uses: knits, denim, furnishing and more.
Many thanks to Nathalie Revol, h**p project manager at Lin et Chanvre Bio , for explaining the project’s outcome and answering our many questions about processing h**p.

What a week!
Monday, the opening of the long-awaited exhibition at our home base, . As strategic partner of the Alliance for European Flax-Linen & H**p **p, we’re delighted to bring the message that flax-linen is a natural wonder that can play a role in sportwear as well as in sporting equipment, such as surfboards and racquets. Did you see us on ITV News London talking about flax-linen with Antoine Allen?

Can high-performance and sustainability co-exist? This was the theme of the two-day launch conference, which featured luminaries including Tom Kay, founder of Finisterre, and the Alliance’s very own Annabelle Villot Malka, who highlighted flax-linen’s applications in everything from Formula One cars to crash helmets.
Many conversations were had with friends and colleagues, old and new. And we look forward to having many more over the next six months that the exhibition is on.

Huge appreciation and thanks to The Mills Fabrica team for hosting such a generous-spirited event and championing positive innovation. And now, have a good weekend!

Today, the Performance Without Toxicity exhibition opens in at ! Catch being interviewed by on tonight, discussing the benefits of using natural fibres in activewear and sports equipment.

The Alliance for European **p is showing flax-linen textiles, finished products and composite objects as well as plants, fibres and co-products, with the aim of highlighting its eco credentials and surprising capabilities.

The exhibition is open and free to the public for the next six months, Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. Come visit and let’s grab a coffee together!
