BK IT Service :
An IT Service is a Service provided by the IT function in an organisation. It can be “customer-facing”, that is, a Business Service, or it can be a Supporting Service.
Information Technology Services (ITS) is dedicated to implementing innovative solutions to support students, faculty, and staff. As Penn State’s largest single IT unit, we strive to find, create, and share services, tools, and training that meet the evolving technological, academic, and business needs of those we serve. Using IT to move Penn State forward is our most important pursuit, and we’re committed to improving our services, cultivating our talented workforce, becoming more efficient, revamping IT infrastructures, and promoting a culture of openness and respect.
Our senior leaders bring their own blend of expertise and experience to ITS and Penn State. Many also hold positions of influence on committees and working groups throughout higher education and IT organizations nationwide. Leaders at all levels of ITS—managers, team leads, and staff—help guide our organization and its people.
