Acton Carnival

How perfectly fitting that the yellow t-shirted Ealing Business Expo “Expo Farewell Trinidad-Style Last Lap Jumpup” mas’ band should be the very last section to dance through the streets of Acton in Ealing, West London as part of the Acton Carnival 2023 parade

This was our final goodbye to eight years of the “biggest business event in the London borough of Ealing”: our nine events ran since 2015, drawing together hundreds of small local businesses every year

The Expo mas’ band, made up of Ealing-based businesses including exhibitors Minute Business Videos and Gardenio gardeners, and led by Expo boss Contactus Ealing, was a sub-section of the R Consultancy band, featuring Soca Saga Boys, and the Windrushers2019 in their traditional Caribbean bele skirts

Thank you to R Consultancy Carnivals (Expo supporters and exhibitors since 2019) for inviting us to share the section with them and for organising the printing and distribution of the branded Expo t-shirts

The parade started from Crown Street (opposite Morrisons) and proceeded along a traffic-controlled Uxbridge Road to Acton Park, where the rest of the event took place with stands, food trucks, a stage, live steelband music courtesy Stardust, dances, DJs, and other performances. Local fitness specialists Blast Fit, along with Expo 2023 exhibitor Natural Glo, donned their yellow shirts to join us in the park

Well done to the team, celebrating 20 ‘Emerald’ years in 2023 👏

Thank you to the local businesses who have signed up to join our yellow t-shirt section at on Sat 8 July - we will be the last band in the procession along Uxbridge Road from Crown Street (close to Morrisons) all the way to Acton Park, as part of the Carnival band alongside .co.uk

Give us a wave (especially if you have something yellow!)

Come jump-up with us at Acton Carnival as we close off eight years of the Ealing Business Expo

Expo exhibitor and supporter R Consultancy is arranging a ‘Last Lap’ Trinidad Carnival style mas band to bring local businesses together at Acton Carnival on Sat 8 July

If you would like to join in with our Expo section, the cost to take part is £25. This includes your costume, which is a yellow t-shirt printed with the Expo logo on the front and your business social media handle on the back, plus wristband entry to the Carnival park

Naturally we will be taking lots of photos to tag and post on social media, so this is a great opportunity to boost your business visibility
