WOW, BUSINESS COACHING IS DIFFICULT!
Just the other day, I was speaking with a young female entrepreneur, she wanted me to invest into her business. In less than 3 minutes, I knew that she was going to be facing a difficult battle to win in her chosen niche venture.
She was shocked and taken aback by how quickly I rejected her offer.
'But Jeff,' she said, 'You didn't even listen to my full plan, I've prepared a powerpoint slide deck, lots of details about my plan. I have a proven concept, I've made a few sales. I'm working extremely hard to grow this business. Why don't you want to back me in this venture?'
How can you tell someone that the business idea (that they're working TIRELESSLY to build and promote) is really NOT a good idea at all?
When I'm direct with clients, they sometimes get offended and become defensive. Some consider me arrogant or even downright rude, when my real intention is to help them avoid a painful and costly experience.
So this made me think:
What about running a mini-workshop on how to make the right decisions to decide on the difference between a good business opportunity compared to a great business opportunity?
If I manage to generate enough interest, we will make this happen LIVE within the next few weeks.
If you're interested, drop me a line below in the comments saying 'Yes Jeff, I'm interested'
I'll then set up a sign up page over the weekend. I'll post the link to the signup page in the comments section below.
