Coming off a fun, relaxing weekend to an unpleasant first workday can be quite hard. If you find yourself feeling lethargic, tense, or overwhelmed, the following tips may help:
• Don’t keep checking e-mails at the weekend
• At the weekend you don’t have to stick exactly to your sleep routine, but don’t mess with it too much either
• Avoid over-scheduling on Monday
• If you know that you have a very busy Monday, then set aside an hour to get a head start on the Sunday, but ensure you completely relax on the Saturday
• Write down your worries
• Plan something fun, maybe a nice lunch with a friend
• Do something nice for someone else, this will distract yourself from your own worries and makes you feel good
• Treat yourself with a good breakfast, it will help you stay energised
Note: Seek professional help if your Monday Blues turn into Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, etc

When you're self-employed it's hard to take a break, but the dangers of overworking are potentially deadly, so just do it! How? Here are a few tips:
1. Plan your time off in advance, ensure you clear your desk first
2. Adjust your prices to factor in time off, but ensure clients still get value for money
3. Learn to stay away from your inbox!

SHOULD YOU HIRE FROM FIVERR OR OTHER FREELANCE PLATFORMS? I know what it's like to be in your shoes – to have to be smart with your investments and make sure your money stretches as far as it can. So in your shoes, it'd be natural to ask if you'd be better off hiring a service provider from Fiverr. What are your thoughts here – have you hired from a platform like Fiverr and had success?
