New digitals in from Adam S - a commercial, hand, e-commerce and sports model on the HHM roster.

Straight polaroids, no retouching: relaxed commercial looks in a cream overshirt and white tee, alongside a set of athletic shots from the same afternoon.

Natural light, plain backdrop, nothing styled out - which is the point of a good digital. It shows what a model actually looks like before hair, wardrobe and grooming get involved.

Out now: Timex for J Crew, shot with Common Image.

A run of retro still-life — a typewriter and a desk full of scattered peanuts in one frame, a bare hand pressed into sand in another — all built around the watches, or their absence in turn, with the hand work holding each shot together.

The kind of brief where the hand has to stay relaxed and in character take after take, setup after setup - but they were always going to be in safe hands with Stu here.

A glossy retro-80s capsule range: Bloody Mary Prawn Cocktail crisps, Peach Melba ice cream, Spicy Pineapple Daiquiri, Steak Diane crisps, the lot.

Decadently, scandalously delicious is the line — and hands are doing a lot of the lifting on this one. Red nails, silver cloches, coupes held mid-air, the hero product cradled just so.

Day one went long. Day two is already costing you the price of a reshoot.

The brief said 200 looks. Day one delivered 130. By 6pm the team is reviewing what's been captured and what hasn't. The product flatlays are fine. The on-model frames need redoing. Sample fit varies between morning and afternoon shots. Facial expression sits differently at hour six than at hour two. Continuity has slipped without anyone noticing in the moment.

A second shoot day is rarely budgeted. The day rate. The studio. The crew. The talent. The retouch overrun to match across two days of inconsistent capture. A 200-shot ecommerce shoot with a single-day budget that becomes a two-day shoot is often a 1.6× to 1.9× cost — without the brief or the deliverable having changed.

The cost is not the second day. The cost is the inconsistency that forced it. An ecommerce shoot needs talent who hold consistent presentation across the day — fit, expression, energy. Most general commercial models do not have the on-set track record to know whether they can.

Fit is the entry point. Track record is the proof. The vast majority of HHM talent placed on ecommerce briefs return for repeat bookings — commercial, foot, and body-parts models supplying high-volume UK ecom programmes across major fashion retailers and footwear brands.

Hand model and POV camera in one. Jonathan Kogan on Michelob Ultra's 'Step Into Superior Access' for Copa90.

The brief was unique: a hand model who could also be the camera, with Jonathan wearing a Cyclops POV helmet rig — a first-person camera mounted at eye level to allow for hands free shots from his POV. Two roles, one performer and a great campaign!

Every product moment in the spot is his hands, captured from his own viewpoint. He closes the film holding the Superior Player of the Match trophy handed over (in this edit) by the 'OG Ronaldo' - R9 - Ronaldo Luís Nazário.

The hands, the POV, and the trophy moment are Jonathan's. Back of the net! ⚽🥅
