Two shoots. Two HHM models. One campaign for Wasabi

Karolina and Zoha worked across the Kobachi imagery, handling the chopstick movement, bowl positioning and repeated noodle lifts needed to keep the food, styling and composition working together from frame to frame.

Food campaigns like this depend on control. The movement has to feel natural, but it also has to be repeatable enough for the photographer, food stylist and creative team to make each adjustment without losing the shot.

Signing with an agency is the start, not the booking.

Representation means the agency can begin matching you to suitable briefs. It does not mean a job appears immediately, or that every brief will be right for you.

A specialist booking usually starts with practical information: your current photographs, measurements, availability, location and the specific work you can do. When a relevant brief arrives, the agency considers who genuinely fits it and confirms the details the production needs.

A shortlist then goes to the client or casting team. They may be considering the product, the required action, continuity, measurements, skin or nail condition, previous experience and whether the talent can meet the practical demands of the shoot.

Selection is followed by confirmation: date, timings, location, usage and the requirements of the job. Only then does the call sheet arrive and the work move from possibility to booking.

The useful part of the waiting period is staying ready. Keep your details accurate. Respond promptly. Look after the area you model. Tell your agency when your availability changes.

The first booking cannot be forced. Being properly prepared means you are ready when the right brief reaches you.

Save this for the beginning of your specialist modelling career.

We were recently gifted this copy of Vogue from 1939. Stunning looks. Iconic fashion history here from a longstanding client with endless style.

Our session manicurists regularly shoot for Vogue, working alongside our hand models to bring that same timeless, flawless ex*****on to modern-day briefs. Cover illustrated by the German impressionist painter Suzanne Eisendieck.
