The inaugural Emirates Airlines scheduled flight EK 370 operated by Boeing 777-31H(ER) A6-EGR aircraft from Dubai (DXB) in the United Arab Emirates via Bangkok (BKK) in Thailand to Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport (SAI) at Siem Reap in Cambodia arrived slightly early yesterday, Tuesday 3rd June 2025 to a traditional grand water canon salute 🇰🇭🇹🇭🇦🇪

And I am so very pleased that this service has now commenced for all the people who are involved in or who can benefit from, in whatever way, the aviation, hospitality and tourism industries in and around Siem Reap and the Angkor complex of ancient temples close to Siem Reap in Cambodia, and this should soon help to boost their local economy greatly 🇰🇭🇹🇭🇦🇪

Then, the inaugural Emirates Airlines scheduled flight EK 371 operated by the same Boeing 777-31H (ER) A6-EGR aircraft from Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport (SAI) at Siem Reap in Cambodia via Bangkok (BKK) in Thailand to Dubai (DXB) in the United Arab Emirates departed virtually on time yesterday, Tuesday 3rd June 2025, also after a great fanfare 🇰🇭🇹🇭🇦🇪

This new route will operate 3 times weekly in both directions on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and will complement the Emirates Airlines' existing daily service between Dubai in the United Arab Emirates and Phnom Penh in Cambodia via Singapore in Singapore, which expands the airline's all year round presence in Cambodia to 10 weekly flights 🇰🇭🇹🇭🇦🇪

Strategically timed to serve leisure travellers from key markets throughout Europe, as well as the growing North and South American markets, this new route will also open up more opportunities for cultural and business exchanges under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between Cambodia and the United Arab Emirates 🇰🇭🇹🇭🇦🇪
