Project Complete.

Successful removal of a 2-stop, 3200KG express goods lift featuring vertical bi-parting landing doors.

This complex decommissioning required detailed planning and precision ex*****on, utilising a shaft scaffold installation enabling the controlled removal of heavy-duty components between floors. Every stage was delivered with strict adherence to safety, structural integrity, and programme efficiency.

A technically demanding strip-out completed seamlessly by industry specialists.

Job Awarded! - Marlowe House, Sidcup

We’re pleased to share that Liftout has been awarded the lift de-commissioning works at Marlowe House, Sidcup.

While we’re fortunate to receive purchase orders regularly, this one really stands out for us. This will be the third time Liftout has de-commissioned lifts within this building since the company was founded back in 1990, with our previous visit dating back to 2008.

Marlowe House has been a Metropolitan Police building since 1966, and returning once again is something we’re genuinely proud of. Repeat work over decades like this is a strong reminder of the long-term trust our clients place in us and the consistency of our team’s expertise.

A great win, a historic site, and another chapter added to a long-standing relationship.

Project Complete!

We’re proud to share the successful replacement of X2 escalators for our good client Jackson Lift Group at Trinity Walk, Wakefield.

This was a full turnkey operation, delivered from start to finish by the Liftout Escalator Division, covering removal, installation, coordination, and handover to ensure minimal disruption and a smooth transition back into service.

A big thanks to Jackson and the Trinity Walk team for the continued trust and great collaboration throughout the works. Projects like this are a perfect example of what can be achieved with clear planning, teamwork, and experienced engineers on site.

Today, the Lift & Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) officially welcomed Liftout Ltd as a new member, and we’re absolutely thrilled to share the news.

Our Lift division wrapping up one top-drive traction motor room equipment exchange and completing the re-install of an MRL machine following repair.

Both units are now ready to be set up and roped, giving the lifts a fresh new lease of life. Proud of the team for completing each job safely, smoothly, and to our usual high standard.

Project Complete – Escalator Removal Works

We’ve successfully completed the removal of 6 Crisscross escalators on Oxford Street,

Our scope included full planning and ex*****on:
✔️ Supplying all plant, lift plans, method statements and fully qualified NVQ Level 3 engineers
✔️ CPCS lifting supervisor & slinger support throughout
✔️ Soft-stripping each escalator in situ — handrails, profiles, glass balustrades, skirting panels and steps removed
✔️ Full lifting setup across multiple floor levels including A-frame gantries and 110v hoists
✔️ Safely lowering each truss to ground floor from bottom up
✔️ Cutting each unit into 3 manageable sections ready to process and remove from site during night works

A challenging multi-level project in a busy central London environment, delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule by the Liftout team.
