This is a very dark times and we must resist the temptation to lose hope, and despair. There are so many build-bridges, hand-holders and ligt-bringers, among us.
So many peaceful warriors.
It's now that we must have the audacity of hope to bring light to a dark world.

If it's not us, who?
If it's not now, when?

One of my favorite Buddhist slogans.
We know that if we can train our mind, we can change our life.
Slogans do work.
I use this one often, when I realize I’m clinging to negative thoughts of all kinds. The result is that my brain and all body as a whole go into the reactive ‘fight, flight, freeze and fawn’ mode.
When I become aware of that, this slogan is a powerful primer to help me shift from negative to neutral, to a positive mindset.
Simply breathe in the negative thoughts to accept them, and consciously breathe out the joy, to manifest it, sending it out to the world.
It’s quite powerful as you breathe in while repeating it, notice how your mind and body slowly relax.
A gentle smile might appear on your lips, like on this Buddha head above. Through this simple auto training, we can shift from negative to positive, and experience instead a ‘broaden and build’ response. The power of positivity over negativity.
The power of our intentions, and ability to choose.

Yes, this a perfect summer book!
Never judge book by its cover.
If you are as appalled as I am by the increasing level of polarization and division of pur time, do read this book.
Not only you learn the neuroscience behind the reasons we see things so differently, but also you’ll gain some useful idea on how to manage disagreements, conflict in your life and leadership.
Knowledge and awareness are powerful to make change happen and lead ourselves and others.
