So proud to announce Sri Lanka’s first Squash - PSA World Tour] satellite event champion! Congratulations 💥 Can’t wait to see you climb the rankings!!!

We’ve been working with both the Squash - PSA World Tour] and to elevate opportunities and ultimately the standard of squash within the country and we’re so excited to see this already translating into progress.

We want to take a moment to recognise two key organisations in our life who have recently reached landmark milestones! 🎉 And say a big thank you for all of the support!

We just returned from the South of France where brought the whole organization together from around the 🌎 for the first time since pre-Covid times. Having joined the leadership team as an Expert Partner in the middle of the pandemic in March 2021, it was great to spend time with some colleagues I hadn’t even met in person & input into the strategy for the next 5 years!

We were also celebrating having passed the 100 employee mark! Having been around 50 when we started working together!

Looking forward to to building on the journey so far & creating something really exciting!

Happy 5th birthday !💥When I joined in 2019, I was partner number 5… now we are 23 lawyers! What an achievement… all testament to the drive of the founders & the flexibility of the organization.

Looking forward to seeing what next! It was great to spend time together in Suffolk a couple of weeks ago but we also can’t wait for the reinstatement of the ski trip!

We were back in Singapore this week as it gets closer to crunch time for the decision of the host of the World Athletics Championships in 2025.

The vote will take place at the Council meeting ahead of the World Athletics Championships in Oregon this July. For the first time in a while, World Athletics is in the position of having a very competitive process with Singapore, Tokyo (JPN), Nairobi (KEN) & Silesia (POL) all submitting strong bids. Exciting times for athletics and hopefully exciting times for sport in South East Asia!

It certainly feels like the world is reopening and there is a renewed excitement around events! Most of all, we’re enjoying being back face to face with our clients around the world!

I often hear myself saying ‘this is my favourite time of year’, but I guess I love each season! But when a new season first arrives, it’s refreshing and exciting and brings on new adventures. A couple of days ago I was photographing sunrise trail running with sports lawyer, athlete, advisor, public speaker and one of my favourite model’s and inspiration to myself and other women in sport Rowena Samarasinhe in a location we were skiing not so long ago now. The wildflowers are replacing the snow and the marmottes are starting to wake from their hibernation. This was followed by photographing spring skiing late morning, a short hike and a podcast in the afternoon then photographing the moon at night. It’s amazing how you can fit so much into some days and hardly find the time for anything in others. Springtime is bliss and feels like a new beginning and with the longer days, there is a lot that can be achieved! Enjoy 😉

When I took on my role on the National Sports Council of Sri Lanka, I had no political agenda or affinity and my intention was purely to use my experience to better sport in my homeland of Sri Lanka.

I hope for a day when sport will be separated from politics but today is not that day.

While I had resisted this decision solely in the interests of Sri Lanka’s sportsmen and women, I also appreciate that there are much more important life-impacting decisions to consider right now and it is with a heavy heart that I must share the news we have collectively stepped down from the National Sports Council.

I stand with Sri Lanka🇱🇰 I hope that we are able to fix our beautiful country and eventually pick sport back up where we left it.

I truly believe that sport can change the world and I hope that at some time in the future we can use it to build bridges once again… in Sri Lanka and all around the world.

It’s been a busy week talking sport policy with but also essentially following one big crash course in investment & financial institutions right now! It’s a new world for us but an incredibly exciting one!

It’s official! Singapore is bidding to host the World Athletics Championships in 2025 & if successful it will be the first ever edition of the event in South East Asia! New audiences to athletics & a whole new untapped market of potential future world champions! Plus Singapore has an undisputed track record for hosting major events.

Just imagine if Singapore could do for athletics what it did for F1?!?

Reflecting on some of the highlights of what has been an incredible week driving the diversity agenda, it’s also difficult to “celebrate” women when 79% of Ukrainian refugees right now are women & children; women are 14 times more likely to die during times of conflict; largely because they are also less likely to be part of the decision-making process. But research shows that when women are involved in solution design, communities fair better since they better understand the essential needs. These are the issues the Arise Fund aims to address in natural & conflict disaster zones & why I feel so passionately about this cause. It also aligns with my never ceasing goal to see more diversity at board and C-Suite level. Representation is so important to ensure the needs of all groups within society are met.

According to the SDP Gender Index, globally we are way off course the UN’s goal of equal pay by 2030 which suggests that women are still significantly disadvantaged in the workplace, which translates into all areas of society. There is still so much work to do.

Thank you to those who give me a platform to try to make change & those also fighting the fight!

Watching Saracens vs Leicester Tigers in a top of the table clash at the Stonex Stadium over the weekend, we had the incredible privilege of watching the second half with the amazing who was on the sidelines due to duty🏉

A stadium close to our hearts, Rowena spent 15 years running on this athletics track before it was transformed into a rugby stadium, first as an 8 year old trying athletics with Barnet & District AC then running for That was a lot of hours!!!!

It looked a little different!

Our past, present & hopefully our future all in one place❤️

Thank you !
