One by one, the treasures from this collection are going to their new homes, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! I used to have a hard time letting go of my creations, but now it’s pure joy to see how these little pieces bring delight to each of you. Thank you for being part of this adventure, caring enough to stick around and see what ideas come about next and for choosing from time to time, to add some of my creations to your own collections. Perhaps our lives are more like postage stamps than we realise. We just see this small part of life but God sees the bigger picture. It’s often amazing to hear other people’s testimonies, what they have seen and been through and how sometimes they intersect with your own. Then we catch a glimpse of the bigger picture, and it expands our understanding of life’s story. Sometimes it’s wonderful to ponder what God may be up to.

There was a beautiful moment Whyteleafe Community HUB fayre the other week when a young lady approached my stall with her mother. She expressed her appreciation of these silver and rose quartz cabochon rings. And with careful consideration her mother agreed that the time was right for her daughter, who was now a young woman, to start collecting “proper jewellery”. It was such a sweet moment of recognition for the daughter to be entrusted with her first quality piece of jewellery and for me, to see the ring I had carefully crafted take on a whole new meaning to this young lady. Being able to be part of moments like these make serving you such a joy.

Customers often ask me if I have any dog themed jewellery. And my answer up until recently has been, “I’m afraid not, I have cats but no dogs.” The reason being that cats are very much a uniform shape whereas our canine friends come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes. But I finally have a really elegant looking sterling silver doggy pendant in my collection and I think those of you who have been waiting for this moment will enjoy it but let me know what you think.
