“I had 25 years of experience but I still didn’t believe in myself.”

When Jae started looking for work, her biggest challenge wasn’t her CV, it wasn’t her skills, it wasn’t her experience - it was confidence.

After more than 25 years in administration, including senior roles within a leading university, Jae found herself questioning her value and wondering if she’d ever find a role that worked around family life.

Through our Back to Work, Digital Skills and Confidence course, Jae rebuilt her confidence, refreshed her skills and started seeing herself differently.

Then she applied for a role she might once have talked herself out of - and she got it! 🙌

Today, she’s thriving in a flexible role in education that fits around her family and has rediscovered her belief in what’s possible.

Dee is back with Week 7 of our Supporting Autism in Education course 🙌

Today the group has been discussing some of the differences in how autism can present in boys and girls, and why it may not always be recognised or picked up as quickly.

There have been some really thoughtful conversations happening in the breakout rooms, with learners sharing experiences, ideas and reflections throughout the session.

We’re excited to welcome new learners onto our Back to Work & Confidence, Coaching & Mentoring, Business Start-Up and Supporting Autism in Education courses this week 🎓

NEST will be joining our Supporting Autism in Education group to discuss SEND careers in schools and the wide range of opportunities available.

We’re also delighted that some of our mums are gaining valuable work experience at Harris Primary Academy Kent House, helping them build confidence and take their next steps towards employment.

Jane will be going live with Donna May to talk about The Third Chapter event and she’ll also be attending a meeting at the House of Commons with the 5% Club, supporting conversations around employment and opportunities for all.

Here’s to a fab week of building confidence, creating opportunities and supporting mums to find a job they love 🙌

12 Years of Successful Mums 🎉

Our final birthday wishes in this special series come from the wonderful Regan 🥰

Regan has been part of the Successful Mums journey right from the very beginning, joining one of our very first business courses 12 years ago 🙌

One thing that always stayed with her was Jane’s advice to write down your goals , something Regan took to heart and carried with her on her journey.

Today, Regan is living on the Kent coast and taking her business in an exciting new direction, proving just how powerful those first small steps, big dreams and self belief can be 👏

As we head towards the end of our birthday month, we’re sharing lovely wishes from Emily at It Takes a Village 👏

Emily joined our Enterprise course with lots of ideas and passion but needing the confidence and practical advice to help turn those ideas into reality 🙌

It’s been amazing to watch her journey since then and even more special as It Takes a Village is now celebrating its own 5th birthday too 🎉

We love seeing women grow businesses, communities and opportunities from those very first steps of self belief.
