🏠 Where do wasps live?
Wasps often build nests in lofts, roof spaces, wall cavities, sheds, garages and even underground.
🍭What attracts them?
Wasps are attracted to sweet foods and drinks, especially in the late summer/ early autumn when food source becomes harder to find.
👀 How do you know if you have a nest?
Seeing lots of wasps repeatedly entering and leaving the same hole or gap is a big clue that there could be a nest nearby..
⚠ A wasp nest can contain anywhere from a single queen to 10,000 wasps in a mature colony depending on species and size!
🚨 If you suspect there's a nest, don't try and block the entrance or disturb it yourself. You could end up encouraging the wasps to find another way out- potentially into your home!
