At Milan Design Week 2026, V***e Clicquot presented Chasing the Sun, created with Yinka Ilori. The installation transformed Clicquot Yellow, used since 1877, into a living idea: light, colour and connection shaped a solar world, supported by a limited-edition collection that reimagined champagne rituals through contemporary craft.

Ilori’s approach blended bold colour, pattern and storytelling, guided by a Nigerian proverb: what you sow, you reap. Joy became an active force. A calabash-inspired champagne bucket reflected this, linking sunlight, care and shared experience.

The project centred on light as a symbol of hope and human connection. Objects such as the Arrow gift box, Sun Holder and Sun Totems acted as tools for shared ritual. Made with upcycled materials and 3D knitting, they expressed a regenerative approach to design.

The experience unfolded through colour, texture and movement. Visitors moved through an immersive space that built in brightness, ending in a calm café and boutique setting. Touch, taste and temperature completed the journey, with each detail designed to make optimism tangible through colour, craft and shared moments.

“Traces” was presented at Milan Design Week 2026 as a site-specific installation by Range Rover in collaboration with Storey Studio at Galleria Meravigli. It explored the brand’s Bespoke philosophy through sensory experience, where personalisation is shaped by memory, place and material instinct alongside design intent.

The installation unfolded across three connected chapters, each defined by a distinct emotional register. Memory and Colour opened the experience through shifting light and mirrored space, where film and evolving palettes dissolved boundaries and evoked how colour is rooted in geography and lived experience.

Memory and Motif followed, presenting illustrations inspired by Milan, translated into bespoke embroidery. Personal recollection became tactile expression, where crafted detail carried narrative depth and intimacy.

Memory and Material concluded the journey with the unveiling of the Pearl of Tay, a one-off Range Rover Bespoke commission inspired by the freshwater pearl of Scotland’s River Tay. Surrounded by curated objects in stone, metal and natural materials, the vehicle was positioned within a wider landscape of craft and origin, where material choices reflected place and identity.

Throughout the installation, mirrors, sound and controlled lighting shaped perception, creating a space that shifted between expansion and enclosure. Developed with designers, artists and craftspeople, Traces reflected how design is formed through emotional memory as much as physical making.

At Milan Design Week, Sara Ricciardi presented “Serotonin – the Chemistry of Happiness”, an immersive installation created in collaboration with American Express.

The work translates the idea of serotonin into a sensory spatial experience, using inflatable forms that expand and contract in a rhythmic cycle. The installation focuses on how movement, light, and space can evoke emotional responses and reflect the relationship between beauty and wellbeing.

Presented at Fuorisalone 2026, American Express supported the project as part of its cultural programming at Milan Design Week.

At Milan Design Week 2026, Audi presented “Origin” with Zaha Hadid Architects: a calm, immersive installation reflecting its new design philosophy: clarity, intelligence, and emotion. Set in a historic courtyard, the evolving structure plays with light, material, and movement, creating a quiet counterpoint to the city.

Alongside it, Audi showcases the RS 5 plug-in hybrid and the Formula 1 R26, highlighting its push toward electrified performance and innovation.

For over a decade, Audi has used Milan as a platform to explore bigger themes like sustainability, urban life, and sensory overload. “Our recurring presence in Milan is not about showing cars – it is about contributing to a broader cultural debate,” says Massimo Frascella, Chief Creative Officer at AUDI AG. “In a world that is getting busier every day, design must help people filter the noise, find clarity, and reconnect with what truly matters.”
