Growth and scale are often used interchangeably, but they require very different approaches.

Growth is typically driven by increasing effort, more time, more output, more involvement in every part of the business. It can create momentum, but it is often difficult to sustain.

Scaling, on the other hand, is about building structure. It requires clearer strategy, stronger decision-making, and the ability to step back from day-to-day operations to focus on direction.

Understanding when to shift from growth to scale is what allows a business to move forward without adding unnecessary complexity.
