No age limit.
No particular background.
No waiting for someone else to recognise your potential.

Network marketing is an opportunity that is open to everyone.

But let’s be honest — it isn’t a magic button.

You still have to work at it.
Learn.
Be consistent.
Keep showing up.
And be prepared to grow along the way.

So why do I share this so much?

Because I found this opportunity later in life, and it showed me that you don’t have to reach a certain age and decide that your biggest opportunities are behind you.

For me, it has been about creating something that fits around my life — and having the freedom to keep building, adapting and trying new things.

That’s why I believe everyone should at least know that this kind of opportunity exists.

No glass ceiling.
No predetermined path.
Just an open door.

What you do with that opportunity is up to you.

Starting something new at 40, 50 or 60 can seem daunting, but this is where we often have the upper hand - we just might need to give ourselves a little talking to first!

Often life experiences or challenges might have knocked our confidence - we don’t show up as a 20 year old who hasn’t necessarily faced the challenges we have like raising children, divorce, redundancy, empty nesters etc, but look at what we have learned along the way. Resilience!

We have nothing to lose and everything to gain by just trying it. Our networking marketing industry is forgiving, flexible, supportive and cheerleading. We WANT you to succeed. Follow and comment INFO to hear how it might work for you.

When you are very much in the right room! Thank you so much Karen for inviting me to listen to 3 such inspirational women discuss the issues that women over 45 have finding employment and the bias towards younger women. I found this myself 13 years ago when I was 44 when searching for an extra job with over 100 job applications not even being acknowledged, let alone offered an interview. I found my solution in a different field in the end with network marketing, but I never forgot the panic that I felt in that year long search. I had always had options before and suddenly I didn’t and it was like all my experience and my feeling that I had quite an impressive CV counted for nothing, or had been in my imagination. To hear the honesty from Stacey Duguid and Karen Millen OBE about their personal experiences was enlightening and humbling and you could feel a room full of women all totally understanding. Hopefully a community can come together and find a solution and make some serious changes. One aspect they discussed in particular really made me sit up - if women over 45 struggle to find employment then it’s a very long wait to receive their pension at 67! This definitely needs to be addressed. ̇ng

A gratitude post today for the NHS🤍

I went into London today for my annual echocardiogram — one of three scans I have had in the last 4 weeks, with 2 more to go this month too.

Not exactly how I’d choose to spend my time…

But I’m grateful.

Grateful I can go.
Grateful I have access to the care I need.
Grateful for our NHS because I have had incredible care for my condition over the last 6 years and it will always be ongoing.
And most importantly, grateful that I have the time and flexibility to put my health first.

Because getting older brings more than a few extra candles on the cake. 😂

It brings perspective.

You start to realise that time, health and freedom are priceless.

So today I’m not complaining about the appointments.

I’m grateful I have the opportunity to be here, to look after myself and to keep moving forward.

Don’t wait until life forces you to appreciate your time.

Make time for what matters now. ❤️ #50

Our most social month so far! Birthdays and ‘very special’ birthdays, family get togethers and days out. We’ve enjoyed every minute!

I notice more and more that every member of our close family asks for events / days out together to make memories, rather than ‘things’ for their birthdays and I’m so pleased. Although of course ‘things’ can be lovely too! 😂

This month has been jam packed and it’s good to take a few minutes to reflect ans enjoy the photo memories before moving into ‘new term’ mode!

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in business?
You don’t have to be brilliant every single day.
You just have to keep showing up.
Some days you’ll feel motivated.
Some days you won’t.
Some posts will do really well.
Others won’t!
But the people who keep going, keep learning, keep talking to people and keep putting themselves out there...
eventually build momentum. Whether it’s network marketing, your own business, a side hustle or absolutely anything else...
Success rarely comes from what you do once.
It comes from what you’re willing to do consistently.
