I’ve been meaning to post about this all week… life got busy, but this deserves its flowers. 🖤🤎🖤🤎
Last Friday I had the privilege of hosting and moderating the first Black & Brown Fertility Show at Three – The Speechmark, London.
I moderated 6 expert-led talks covering everything from IVF and fertility preservation, to recurrent miscarriage, male fertility, holistic health and navigating fertility in the workplace.
The room was full. The conversations were honest. And the speakers were extraordinary.
One moment that genuinely stopped me: When I asked the audience how many people were getting 8 hours of sleep, less than 5% raised their hands. And every single one of them was a speaker on the stage.
Sleep, diet, movement, the products we use, so much of what affects our fertility is in our hands, and so many of us don’t know it yet.
That’s exactly why events like this matter.
