Nobody asked for the supercar. She just knew.

A client's trip to Jordan fell apart last minute. Her Lifestyle VA didn't wait to be asked what to do next. She researched alternatives, settled on Southern Italy and built a six-day itinerary across the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii.

Tours booked, restaurants reserved, the lot 🇮🇹🍝🍨

They were flying by private jet. The weather was looking beautiful and she wanted them to have a soft-top for the drive.

Every normal hire car company had nothing available out of season, so she found a platform that rents from private owners and sourced a supercar waiting at the airport on arrival 🏎

Somewhere between the business wins and the packed calendar, my clients stopped asking me about productivity - and started asking me to help them not miss their kids growing up 🥹

Honestly? I thought we just organised lives and businesses. For a while, that's exactly what we did.

But this year something shifted, and it's been the most heartwarming thing 🥹

One of my longest clients called recently and said he wants his VA to focus on his "life objectives" now.

His kids are heading to university soon, his parents are ageing, and he's done letting work eat all the good stuff.

🪄 More time with the people he loves. Bucket list trips that actually happen.

Space in his diary for the charities that light him up.

Another client came back to us and the first thing he said was: "Please help us create more core memories as a family." 💗

I mean, come on. How beautiful is that?

Nobody has their sh*t together all the time. Some people just have better support.

We hear the sighs, see the tired faces, listen to the worries of a full plate and a life of juggling so many commitments 😣

We hold the ‘mess’ and the ‘chaos’ for so many incredible leaders, business owners and families.

We turn it into mental clarity, smiles and relief. We step and carry the load.

Even the best in the world confess when they first start working with our Lifestyle VAs that they don’t think people would want to work with them if they really knew what their messy, beautiful, exhausting lives looked like in private.

Nobody is any different.

I always tell them that no one is meant to do everything perfectly by themselves. It’s so unrealistic.

We don’t judge, we just solve the time issue and get life organised for them.

They need more precious time, and time gives them headspace.

So the smart cookies that they are, they borrow our time and they get theirs back.

So you're absolutely smashing it in business. Congrats! 🎉

Your personal life? Ha. That's held together by Uber Eats receipts and panic planning.

Listen, I see this ALL the time with our Founder clients. You've got your funding rounds sorted, your investor decks looking chef's kiss, team scaling like you can’t believe.

But at home? You're panic-searching your inbox "when does car insurance renew" at 11pm while simultaneously realising tomorrow is your anniversary and the fridge contains... one sad lemon and something unidentifiable in Tupperware.

Your Executive Assistant is an absolute weapon at work. But asking them to sort out your personal life? Feels weird, right? Like you're crossing some invisible professional line.

You probably think as the owner of a VA agency I'm deeply, ridiculously organised?

That used to be the case, this year not so much! I decided running a second business, aka an Airbnb would be a brilliant idea. Turns out, it's full on 😆

Never one to shy away from a challenge, I went full steam ahead anyway, whilst keeping my VA agency running at full speed too.

I know we love being nosey about how 'organised' people run their lives, right?

So this is how I've adapted this year to handling even more on my plate, whilst trying to take most Fridays off.

Here are the brilliant but easy things I do that saves me time as an owner of two businesses with a lil family whilst deep in peri-meno squirrel brain land... because yes this was the year I realised that my brain wasn't firing the way it used to thanks to...hormones.
