The second one is real.

But the question is worth answering properly.

If I woke up 20kgs heavier tomorrow, what would I actually do?

Not what most people do.

No crash diet, no punishing myself in the gym 6 days a week, no cutting out every food I enjoy.

That approach fails the same way every time.

I would do exactly what I run my clients through.

A medium calorie deficit I can hold until progress stalls.. Protein high at every meal. Restaurants and real life still on the menu. Four focused training hours a week, heavy strength work plus two runs, built around the job.

Then I would let time do the work instead of panicking every Monday.

The plan is not the hard part.

Following one that fits your life is.

Michael had an active job as a carpet fitter.

He came to me carrying weight that had crept on over the years since starting the job, and it would not shift. No matter how many times he started over.
