This week we hosted our flagship DCM Upfronts event, where we unveiled "Cultural Relevance", the latest edition of our industry-leading Building Box Office Brands research series 🎬
Our Head of Strategy & Insight, Michael Tull, was joined on stage by Caroline Wren from MTM, our partner for this project, to share what makes cultural moments resonate and why cinema continues to be one of the most powerful cultural forces for brands.
Bryony Lawler from Ebiquity plc then shared how to effectively measure cinema's long-term impact, demonstrating why it remains a premium, high-attention, brand-safe medium that delivers lasting brand effects.
Next, Lucy Verby, Founder of We Are Masterplan, moderated a panel featuring industry leading voices who shared how they've strategically and creatively used cinema to drive significant improvements across key campaign KPIs. Thank you to Fleur Andrews (Head of Campaigns, Google Pixel UK), Gareth George (Director of Media, RVU), Vanisha Vaghela (Head of Media Planning, Vodafone) and Michael Bensley (Head of Client, DCM) for such an insightful discussion.
No DCM event would be complete without a look ahead at the exciting upcoming film slate and the creative opportunities it presents for brands, alongside a showcase of cinema-first creative from DCM Studios, which was all brought to life by the brilliant Tom Linay and Jeremy Kolesar.
Thank you to all of our speakers and everyone who joined us for the morning. If you'd like to learn more about how brands can capitalise on cultural moments through cinema's premium environment and exceptional film slate, we'd love to hear from you.
