Felicity

Style is personal. So is accessibility.

Felicity Jackson knows clothing from both sides: she worked in bridalwear and has always sewn, and now lives with chronic conditions that can make dressing difficult.

Trying ASOS Adaptive, she noticed the small decisions with real impact: magnetic fastenings when buttons are hard to manage, and sleeves designed to work more easily with crutches.

For Felicity, clothes are also a way of reconnecting with identity and self-expression. Her creator perspective brings that story beyond the studio and into everyday life.

Melissa is a hair and makeup artist from South Yorkshire who has worked in beauty since leaving school at 16. She joined the ASOS Adaptive production to assist the hair and makeup team, bringing the skills she has built throughout her career.

She has ambitions to work backstage at fashion weeks around the world. ASOS Adaptive is another credit in that professional journey.

A great dress should do more.

For ZBD model Chelsea, the standout ASOS Adaptive piece was a soft, buttery-brown dress. Chic, comfortable and beautifully fitted, with discreet access to her stoma bag. She could enjoy the silhouette without sacrificing the practical details that matter.

The same care carried onto set. When Chelsea felt unwell, the team paused, made her ginger tea and gave her the time she needed.

Good fashion considers the person wearing it. Good production does the same.

A great fit begins long before the camera comes out.

For Adrian Carter, a wheelchair user with one arm, finding trousers that feel comfortable and are practical to wear has rarely been straightforward. As part of the initial fitting research for ASOS Adaptive, he could explain exactly where conventional clothing falls short.

Roxanne McKenzie brought a different perspective: finding adult fashion in proportions that work for her short stature, without losing the colour, glamour and individuality she loves. She contributed as a fitting model and to co-design consultation.

Different bodies. Different wardrobes. Better questions at the fitting stage.
